British Talk Show Hosts

Discovering a new talk show, or digging further back into a series, is like hitting the entertainment jackpot, given the multiple seasons often recorded and the endless opportunities to discover new artists and celebrities. They're great ways to keep us up to date with what's going on in the world, opening our minds to new talent...and the often upbeat and comedic personalities of the hosts can really lighten up our living rooms and put a smile on our faces. Here are some British talk show hosts that I'm particularly fond of...

Graham Norton

The Graham Norton Show

A complete British institution, Graham Norton in my humble opinion is by far the best British chat show host and has been making us laugh for 18 seasons, since 2007. The Irish presenter has a wonderfully cheeky sense of humour, which creates a great rapport with his celebrity guests and the show focuses on lighthearted chat, music performances and eccentric games, like the much loved red chair game.

James Corden

The Late Late Show With James Corden

If you haven't yet seen it, you absolutely must watch Carpool Karaoke, a sketch where James invites celebrities to share the car with him as they travel around town singing together. Some of my favourites have included Chris Martin from Coldplay, George Michael and Adele. You'll love James' down to earth style and great sense of silliness. Before presenting The Late Late Show James also cowrote and starred in the BBC series Gavin & Stacey.

Jonathan Ross

Friday Night With Jonathan Ross

Affectionately known as "Wossy", because of his lisp and inability to pronounce the letter R, Jonathan Ross is best known for presenting Friday Night With Jonathan Ross in the 2000's. The much-loved show mixed comedy, music and chats with A-List celebrities. At the time it was one of my favourite programmes and a must-see show.

NOW TV will have some, if not all, of these shows.
